I am a storyteller first and foremost. Whether working on a business portrait. Or a story on boxers. I strive the tell a story. And I work to let the authenticity of each person in front of my camera come through.

I enjoy people. And I’m comfortable around most of them. I’m good at conversation and connecting. And good at helping people be themselves.

Curiosity is what drives me. And the creativity behind framing the photo. I observe and listen. Before talking and photographing.

I grew up in Southern California, but moved to Seattle many years ago to be a photojournalist at The Seattle Times. While I am not a local Pacific Northwesterner, I do love it here. The wet, the dark, and the long summer days.

I live in Seattle with my wife and small dog. I love to barbecue salmon, drink local red wine with friends, and go on a hike in the woods occasionally.

I look forward to working with you on your next project.
